In March of 2002 we moved into our new (to us) home.  We had lived in the same house for 37 years, so all of our family memories were rooted in that one place.  I was afraid that leaving the "old home place" would be a difficult adjustment, but we love our new home so much that we've never regretted the move.  Besides, the value of memories lies not in the physical place where things happen, but in the lives and love of family and friends, and we brought all of that with us.  So welcome!  Come inside and visit with us!      E Komo Mai!

You might want to compare the front landscaping now to what it was like when we bought the house.  A picture can be found in our photo album "Our New Home" We removed the shrubs and a large tree.

We keep our lighted pineapple fountain bubbling "welcome" 24 hours a day.

Once inside the foyer you either go up to the living room, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, or down to the lower level ohana (family) room, my office, storage / utility area and out to the patio.  Let's go up first...

Here we are in the living room.  The dining room is connected on the left, as you can see in the photo below.

The sliding glass doors in the dining area open out onto our lanai (deck).

The kitchen is right off the dining area on the left.
